When do you need to
start?
Africa needs more universities, and this is an opportunity
that you can't miss. This is because so many people are moving back to Africa,
but there are not enough higher education opportunities for them. You need to
start immediately if you want to be able to apply.
To apply, you will need a lot of documents and information about your educational background and work experience. You'll also need some other basic information like your country of origin, passport number, and birth certificate number.
Additionally, make sure to include a letter stating why you
would be interested in studying at the university and what contribution you
could bring as part of the student body.
What documents will you
need?
You need your ID, passport, and birth certificate. If you don't have your birth certificate, then you need to get that first. Fill out the application and submit it on the EACEA website.
You will receive an email
saying that they received your application and that is all! Once they review
it, you will receive another email saying if you have been accepted or not.
What subjects can I
study?
Studying abroad is something that many people want to experience at some point in their lives. It allows you to learn about other cultures, languages, and traditions.
But what if you don't have the money? Well,
there are still options. In fact, there's a university that is giving out free
tuition for Africans who want to study abroad in Europe! Applications are open
until July 5th, 2018 so hurry up! To apply for this opportunity, all you need is
your passport (it has to be African), your high school diploma, or your
Bachelor’s degree diploma. You also need an essay answering one of these
questions:
1) Why do you want to
go to a European University?
2) Why do you deserve
this scholarship?
3) What are your plans
after finishing university?
Do you get a
scholarship?
Unlike many other scholarships, you are not required to pay
any tuition fees if you are accepted. You will be expected to pay your own
travel expenses and provide your own health insurance.
What happens if I don't
get accepted?
The acceptance process is competitive and there's no guarantee that you'll be accepted into the program. If this happens, don't worry! There are other ways of getting an education in Europe.
You could study
at one of our partner universities or colleges, apply for a study abroad
program with your university, or apply as an international student at European
universities.
Conclusion
The application process is fairly straightforward and there are many online resources that can help you figure out what your next steps are.
The EU has been pushing for more diversity in the past few years and this is just one of its initiatives toward that goal.
It's an amazing
opportunity, so I hope many of you take advantage of it!
