The Independent National electoral commission was formed out of the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to help organize Nigerian elections for various political offices within the country.

They conduct elections for different political positions ranging from presidential post to the post of ward councilors.

Suitable candidates are invited to apply for 2023 Adhoc Staff Recruitment within the capabilities below

·       Supervisory presiding officer( SPO)

·       Presiding Officer(PO) and Assistant Presiding Officer ( APO)

·       Registration Area Technician( Ra tech)

·       Rac Manager

Location: The Recruitment takes place nationwide

Eligibility Criteria

·       Supervisory Presiding Officer(SPOs): Qualification and Source Institution

Federal Public, MDAs-staff on GL10-14(priority is giving MDAs. Qualified staff of NYSC/NOA/NIMC, Civil Service,

INEC officer- RAOs and other INEC staff not engaged in any other duties (GL10-14)

·       Presiding officer and assistant presiding officer(APO): Qualifications and source institutions

Serving NYSC corp members

Passed out NYSC member not earlier than 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021

Undergraduate students of federal and state institutions- students in their penultimate year and a year to convocation

MDAs staff of Federal and State- permanent staff with OND or on GL 07-10

·       RAC manager: Qualifications and source.

The school/ institution hosting the super RAC or RAC – Head of School or staff on GL 07 and above.

·       Registration Area Technician ( RATECH)  Qualifications and source

The staff of INEC- suitable ICT staff( state and HQ) of the commission not engaged in any other duties

NYSC member- Serving corp members in the commission ( where available)
